So, what is a Sselia?
That's me! I'm Sselia, though that's just a nickname. In term of actual, real-life-applicable names, I have a few: Selene, Cecil, Natalie... and some more which I can't bother to remember. I go by any pronoun I may conjure, the first one that arrives in your mind. That's the one. Glad to know you!
Creation, and everything before that
In fact, I still use it.
"Sselia", as a name, didn't originate as it is. It's an evolution of my first actual nickname: Darksselia. The origins of this nickname go back, as everything does, to Pokémon. More specifically, Pokémon Showdown!.
There were others that preceded it, actually, such as Speed Jolteon or Sylveon the 3rd, but when it was needed most, Darksselia arrived as a definite nickname. As the divison may have given away, the nickname is formed by two parts: Dark and Sselia. Dark originates from Darkrai and Sselia, from Cresselia.

The two form the Lunar Duo, of which I've been particularly fond of ever since I was very young. I guess it was only natural, considering that I was always fascinated by the night sky, too.
From there, Darksselia was the username I used for a few years for the few other websites I went to. Though, it felt a bit long-winded. People always shortened it to Darks, which was nice, but at some point I felt like it didn't fit me. Even then, I didn't think that much of it until later.
Back when I joined Discord for the first time, I was still using Darksselia, and it still stuck for some time, but at some point I realized why I didn't like it that much: damn this makes me look kinda edgy. And so, after more than one incident, I settled on the nick Sselia, and that's basically all I've used ever since.
